Taking care...
... of the mind, the soul, the being, the spirit. On the path that leads to liberation, to bliss, to hesychia (inner stillness).
How can we cultivate what is good for us? How can we let go of what harms us? How can we increase and enhance our merits and reduce our errors?
If what you say or do causes harm to another being or to yourself, it will generate negative karma. On the contrary, everything that supports, helps, and uplifts the happiness of others and your own serenity will generate positive karma.
A concrete example: in the workplace, would we prefer to be surrounded by calm, collaborative, and productive people, or in a sterile and orderly environment where distrust, tension, and suspicion prevail? A climate poisoned by judgment, criticism, and condemnation does not foster growth - neither mental nor professional.
Such an attitude is not only unhelpful but also unwise. Of course, we can fulfill our duties - but with what spirit? And at what emotional cost? Are we perhaps living submerged in a swamp of dissatisfaction, anxiety, gossip, mobbing, and sabotage, or in a fluid, trusting, harmonious context? Too many are unhappy and depressed because their environment is dysfunctional.
Numerous studies show that environments based on authentic respect and empathy generate greater effectiveness and even better financial results. Do you truly take care of your coworkers, clients, fellow citizens? When they are treated with respect and humanity, when they feel valued and are treated as you would like to be treated yourself... the harmony that follows will bring extraordinary results. I remember a case: a manager who allowed his team to make mistakes saw the number of errors drop dramatically, almost magically.
