I’m always asked how much I charge. Today, as in the past, I offer my services for free. I always reply: "I do this for free. When you make a donation, it has nothing to do with the time I spend explaining the practice. Donations only serve to cover administrative and technical costs, etc. Never for the work itself, the teachings, the time, etc. As it is written: ‘Freely you have received; freely give.’ (Matthew 10:8)"

What’s the purpose of this generosity? Happiness! To be free of greed and desire, which are merely fears - and therefore free from all mental impurities and pollution that hinder true joy.

This is not only material wealth, but spiritual wealth. Do you remember the four wives? Don’t forget the fourth! Understand the true meaning of your life.

And when you die, you will look back on what you did and be happy to see how much goodness and joy you sowed - even if it was for just one person. You’ll realize that accumulating money or material things isn’t everything. What really matters is how much serenity, joy, and peace you helped grow in others - near or far. They won’t remember the car you drove, but who you were and what you did for them.

With your actions today, you can improve your group (at work, home, among friends, your team, political party, sports club, parliament, or elsewhere). Instead of being a dysfunctional group, it can become a place of fruitful and privileged growth. That’s how we shape the world - one way or another. And that leads to greater and wiser effectiveness, for everyone’s benefit.

Never think you are limited by past karma or actions. Acknowledge. Forgive. Let go.
