My sincere and heartfelt wish: may you be happy, healthy, and well. This act of kindness promotes positive feelings such as joy, trust, gratitude, happiness, and compassion. Feelings which, according to ancient teachings, should be felt unconditionally - for yourself and for others.

This leads to greater appreciation and acceptance of others, but also of yourself. Sometimes difficult, even “impossible”? Yes, sometimes difficult! But liberating. Very liberating! This practice is beneficial for mental, emotional, and physical health. It’s especially useful for reducing negative emotions toward others (but which we feel ourselves) and toward ourselves.
